De uitreiking van de Tony Awards aankomende zomer is ook uitgesteld als gevolg van het coronavirus. De 74ste editie van de Tony Awards zou op zondag 7 juni plaats gaan vinden in de Radio City Music Hall in New York.
Wanneer de prijzen zullen worden uitgereikt is nog niet bekend, een nieuwe datum zal op een later moment worden bepaald zodra de theaters op Broadway weer open zijn gegaan. Op dit moment is het zo dat de theaters gesloten zijn tot in ieder geval half april.

Tony Award Productions released the following statement on March 25 regarding the American Theatre Wing's 2020 Tony Awards®, presented by the Broadway League and the American Theatre Wing:
The 74th Annual Tony Awards, scheduled to air live on the CBS Television Network on Sunday, June 7th from Radio City Music Hall in New York City, will be postponed and rescheduled at a later date, in coordination with our broadcast partner. The health and safety of the Broadway community, artists and fans is of the utmost importance to us.
We will announce new dates and additional information once Broadway opens again.
We are looking forward to celebrating Broadway and our industry when it is safe to do so.
