Wicked zal vandaag een plaatsje gaan stijgen in de top 10 langstlopende voorstellingen op Broadway. In februari dit jaar trad de musical van Stephen Schwartz en Winnie Holzman toe tot deze top 10 ten koste van RENT, op dat moment waren er 5125 voorstellingen gespeeld.
Vandaag zal voorstelling 5462 worden gespeeld in het Gershwin Theatre waar de musical op 30 oktober 2003 in première ging. Met deze voorstelling gaat Wicked de musical Beauty and the Beast van Disney met 5461 voorstellingen voorbij. De volgende musical om te verslaan is Mama Mia! met 5758 voorstellingen.
Op de eerste plaats in de lijst met langstlopende shows op Broadway staat The Phantom of the Opera met 12006 voorstellingen. The Phantom of the Opera is nog steeds te zien op Broadway. De volledige 10 langstlopende shows zie je hieronder.
